There must be something in the water
Hey howdy hey!!!
Its been a great week!! We helped a lady move two days in a row so we were nice and sore and we also got to have some home made sushi with one of the members of the english ward that was pretty good. pleasantly surprising I might add bc Sushi can seem sketchy, at least for this gal.
The highlight of the week was definitely Saturday! Our wonderful friend Efrain made his first covenant with God by getting baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In our efforts to make the water in the font not too cold we had the water on hot full blast while it filled and we closed the doors to the font to keep the hot air in. So we successfully made sure the water was anything but cold. in fact it was so not cold that Efrain almost didn't get in the hot tub like water! Him and our good member friend that baptized him were very red because the water was SO hot. Gotta love them. Sacrifices come in all shapes and sizes.
But, beside the lava hot springs level water everything went smoothly. When Efrain was getting confirmed and was given the gift of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit was SO strong. It was really cool to be able to be there in person. (the other wonderful people I've got to help teach were baptized after I switched areas so ive never actually got to be in person for that before) The church is true guys.
Efrain bore a super sweet testimony about being a new person. It was SO great to hear him. He was so prepared and is so ready to keep doing what he knows to come closer to Christ. That's the whole point everyone. Get as close to Him as possible and everything will always work out sooner or later.
