Georgia on my mind
Hey y'all!
Georgia is sacred ground. Wonderful things have taken place here and will continue to take place here. It is full of God loving people who respect Him and love His word.
The people are sweet, their accents are sweeter. There is a multitude of cultures living and breathing together. Colombians taking in Hondurans, who just spent time with their favorite friends from Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, while our friends who aren't fluent in Spanish give their best "buenos días, como estás" to spread the love.
Boundaries are overcome and the love of Christ abounds.
Beautiful behemoth trees line every country road, rolling hills twist and turn carving character into the pastures and cities alike. In the Summer humidity welcomes you with a warm but clinging hug each time you step outside. In the Fall you are surrounded with the brilliant colors of a lively flame. Winter brings surprises and chilly wind. The blankets of snow, though few, far between, and short lived, fill nearly every heart with spontaneous joy. Spring has a personality of it's own making sure to call attention to the big buzzing bumblebees, vibrant flowers, and clouds of yellow pollen.
At the end of each season it is clear that relationships are eternal, faith is best built by being shown and tested, God loves every single one of His children with the love a perfectly tender parent, and spiritual witnesses are gained, strengthened, and solidified through righteous effort. The best is yet to come. Jesus is the Christ. The work of our Omnipotent Lord will continue to roll forth with increasing speed.
Oh, such peace I find when an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind!
Bless y'alls hearts ♡
Hermana Hyer
