Book of Mormon Mnemonics: President Marsh learned about the cool memorizing technique using pictures called mnemonics a while back and so he decided to use them too memorize a principle or event in every chapter of the book of Mormon. Since today is the birthday of Joseph Smith, this past Wednesday in zone conference Pte. Marsh challenged all the missionaries to memorize those principles in the book of mormon by today. It's been a fun time. I'm super close and should be done by today and then tomorrow he is going to give to the missionaries the mnemonics for Doctrine and Covenants, then in January the mnemonics for the new testament. It's actually way useful and cool. (:

2 days till Christmas!! Yay! So very excited! I live with my comp and one other companionship and we are all pitching in to share some of our Christmas traditions. I'm going to buy some fancy cheese bc that what the Hyers do and sister Smith is going to do cranberry orange bread, sister Blomquist is going to do blts and sister Steven's will do peanut butter bars. Party party :)
Real meaning of Christmas: it's all about Christ you guys, live like He lived, love how He loves, focus on Him and those around you in order to serve them, continue to light the world one by one.
A couple of Highlights:
Sister Blomquist (pronounced bloom quist) and Elder Jeppson, did a BEAUTIFUL violin and piano duet of silent night in sacrament meeting. Wowzers, it was just the best. Sister Blomquist got the piano music for it this past Tuesday and so she is an amazing sight reader and Elder Jeppson was invited to play his violin in Europe before the mission. It was high class. I'll include a recording.
