There's a house at the top of a tree

In the house there's a room, in the room there's a chair, and sitting in the chair is yoooooooooooooooooooou. 

    (that song has little to do with the content of the week except for the part where it would repeatedly get stuck in my head during tracting time and that we can see lots and lots of tree tops from my apartment, so we are kind of a house at the top of a tree. gotta love They Might Be Giants kids albums :)

     

     We are just keeping on over here. Nothing too dramatic to report this week but we did have a cool thing tracting: we started talking to the mom of a family and asked if we could come in and share a messae right then and we did! It was cool. we felt the Spirit. 

     

       An adventure that happened was while we were biking back from teaching the nicest lady english we were nearing the street the apartment is on and I was leading us and heard a thump and looked back to see my cute new trainee on the GROUND! Her front wheel had twisted weird as she tried to do something and so she FELL! But like the hard core lady she is she got right  back up and picked bike up off the ground and got out of the way of traffic. When I got over there we found out the poor girl had broken her hemet! (I will forever and ever proclaim the importance of hemets.) Thankfully she didn't get any road rash or any bad bruises or a noticable concusion. She didn't read or look at screens for the rest of the day and for the next one too just to be safe but wow. She just kept on doing the work without complaining. Love her. 

     One thing that is way cool that everyone should know is that sucess as a missionary is very clearly defined in Preach my Gospel and that it is 100% under your complete control. Your actions and attitude have a direct impact on if you are successfull or not and nothing anyone else does defines your sucess! If you feel and are directed by the Spirit, you are sucessful. If you are as obediant as possible, you are sucessful. amoung other things, if you do your best and work hard, you are sucessful. 

    How wonderful that the Lord inspired the first presidency to include that. I love being my own agent and chosing to act and not be acted upon. When we walk bythe side of the Lord we can do anything. and we can be incrediby sucessful people by His standards which are the ones that actually matter.
