That's great it starts with an...
Earthquake! Or in this case an email from Salt Lake canceling church. (Instead of birds and snakes and airplanes)
Monday- zone p day with lots of volleyball
Tuesday- typical missionary day
Wednesday- Zone conference! 9 months! Exchanges!
Thursday- it was normal until the world stopped spinning when all public church things came to a close
Friday- emotional rollercoaster but good
Saturday- pi day and a cool member visit
Sunday- surprise church and surprise exchange
So the address the elephant
in the room: we've been invited to keep ourselves extra healthy by washing our hands a lot and using hand sanitizer. We have not been quarantined and unless something extra dramatic happens we wont but things change every day :)
Cool thought from the week: Sister Marsh taught us in zone conference about the second great commandment loving thy neighbor as thyself. She focused on being nice to yourself and actually loving yourself. She quoted some statistic that says that generally 80% of peoples thoughts are negative. Kinda wild
But we can do all things through Jesus Christ so Sister Zuniga and I after conference (on exchange) and we were talking about that and the natural man. How much of our nature is due to the natural man? Idk. It was really cool though because sister Zuniga said, "it makes sense that 80% of our thoughts are negative because in order to become like God we need to start thinking like Him, and possibly one of our biggest challenges in life is overcoming our thoughts." That's the next challenge everyone, conquering the natural man in all the ways we can. Become the most like God that we can.
So, good luck! I know that when we do all that we can, trust the Lord and hope in Christ it will be just fine :)
Love you all!
Sister Zuniga and I went to 5 guys to celebrate my 9 month mark yay
