Ch Ch Changeees
Hi everyone!
I would like to begin by expressing the immediate goodness of God. We were getting some groceries and I thought it would be good to have flour but there wasn't any normal flour until I looked a little close and cracko jacko there was one left. Blessing from the Lord.
The mission has adopted "modified self isolation" as President Marsh calls it but we are encouraged to go outside every once in a while which has been interpreted as an hour every day. So on one such occasion we went biking and saw a bunch of turtles chilling by a pond. Blessing from the Lord.
Sister Brooks and I are already in the states and dont have to get reassigned or go home. Blessing from the Lord.
We got to serve in the bishop storehouse multiple times this week and a member there gave us popcorn. Blessing from the Lord.
There are blessing all around us we just have to look for them.
Subject line: it's that one song from shrek. But the changes around these parts are that we get to stay in our apartments the majority if the day but use our devices to teach through video calls, do family history work, etc. Almost all the missionaries with asthma are going home, everyone with diabetes are going home and all the elders that have reached their 21 month mark are going home. That's a lot of people. It's so wild to have all the people that are familiar faces leave. Transfers is going to be interesting because our normal way of doing it is to gather at the mission office but we like social distance so we wont do that. So if you could add to your personal prayer roll the mission presidents around the globe they could use some extra juice right now.
The eternal purposes of the Lord will continue to roll on! I hope you all are safe and healthy.
Love
Hermana Hyer
